Super Foods Every Day What a beautiful cookbook. This one may be hard to give away. I like to read/regift books (do you need shelves of already read books collecting dust in your home - filling up space and inhibiting others from enjoying them?), but this one may be too pretty and practical to share. Sue Quinn has put together a collection of 65 recipes for optimal health - and all contain pictures of the ingredients and final dish. A brief introduction on Super Foods is followed by recipes for breakfast, soups/salads, side dishes, main dishes, baked goodies, and sweet things. I love the pictures of the ingredients and the final product (too many cookbooks are just words without pictures - I want to see what I'm getting myself in to). The only thing I would change is to have the ingredients listed in one column instead of paragraph style. I can't wait to dive in to Super Foods this year, clean up my diet, and maybe drop a few pounds/inches. Thank you Sue and Blogging for Books for another review copy! Always a pleasure. |
