I always know that in a cookbook there are only a handful of recipes I will actually try, and I think this cookbook is no exception. I cook with real, easy access ingredients. I don't have cardamom, lamb (we're hunters - elk, deer, and antelope only), tamari dressing, tarragon, etc. in my pantry. I usually have to exchange one strange ingredient for a simple ingredient - which I feel like I would have to do with at least half of the recipes here.
I do like this cookbook. The recipes are easy to follow, some have basic ingredients only, the food looks fresh & naked, as advertised. I'm interested in the detox, bare, and clean sections most. I'll be perusing, possibly taking pictures of the few pages I'll actually use, and sharing this book with friends or family. It's a fun book - I love the concept, and I hope to pick up a few more healthy lifestyle cooking tips and habits from this book. Thanks Blogging for Books for a few book to review!
