Maizy Grace is a ‘cultural Christian’, a gal unsure about her future and doing what she needs to get by. A product of our culture, she buys a book to solve her problems and give her answer ( instead of turning to the Bible): The Dumb Blonde’s Guide to
Christianity. She lands a new part-time job and tries to follow the guidelines in her new book, while her
integrity and all the rules are out the window with a new turn of events at her old part-time job.
After the first few chapters of this story, I wasn’t so sure about reading the rest of the book. It was cheesy. I skipped any excerpts written from the fake “Dumb Blonde’s Guide” – not bothering to read them. I don’t think they added to the story and were easily left behind. Once I got ½ way through the book, it was easy to finish – not an intellectual read by any means. I will probably donate the book to the church or a friend but won’t be
raving about it.
Thanks for the free book Blogging for
Books! I didn't care for this one, but I'll keep reading!
